In an effort to encourage more children to send in box tops the PTA is going to host a party for the classroom that collects the most box tops. It will be based on child percentage. We will do this once in December and once in May. The cut off for the December party will be December 1. Please note that the "party" deadline does not coincide with the deadline for the check cut off, which is in October. We will continue to count box tops towards your class total through December 1, after which time any box tops turned in will count towards your May party total. The party will consist of pizza or cupcakes and a small prize for each child in the class. The PTA will send home a flyer letting the children and parents know about this incentive. Our hope is that this will increase the number of box tops we receive and help us to earn more money. Again, the party deadlines are not related in any way to the official deadlines set by Box Tops and the checks will be cut as they have been in the past.
